Welcome to the Transportation Department's Home Page
The Transportation Department safely operates and maintains District-owned school buses which provide daily route and activity trip service for our District and other agencies. We also maintain our District's service vehicles and other districts' buses.
Bus passes for the 2013/14 school year will be available for issuance on July 1st. Please call, 916-561-5295 with any questions you may have concerning bus passes.
IMPORTANT: Please note bus service is ONLY available for Natomas Middle School students residing in the Leroy Greene Academy attendance area.
In the 2013-2014 school year, regular education transportation will be provided only for Natomas Pacific Pathways Prep, Leroy Greene Academy and Natomas Middle School students residing in the boundaries of Leroy Greene Academy attendance area. Fees are charged for NP3 bus passes. Please refer to Bus Pass Basics, Fee Information, or Pass and Ticket Prices for further information. All students, except those with transportation required by their Individual Education Plans, must acquire bus passes before utilizing home-to-school service.
N.U.S.D. staff and parents may click on Field Trip Information to learn more about field trip services. Representatives of other agencies seeking services may contact us by telephone or e-mail for further information.
To learn about bus rules for students, please see Bus Safety Rules. Our bus drivers report bus rule violations to school administrators who investigate and determine appropriate consequences. Students may lose bus riding privileges if they do not follow the bus rules. Further information may be found in schools’ student handbooks.
